About Nickel Woven Wire Mesh

Nickel is a silvery-white hard metal whose strength, ductility and resistance to heat and corrosion make it exceptionally useful for the manufacturing of a wide range of materials from wires to coins to military equipment. Nickel is woven using high purity nickel wire and is mostly favoured in corrosive environments such as filtration of liquids, gas, etc. The loom termsheddles, reeds, and bobbinare the same. Because the pre-straightened wires are welded at the intersections, relatively thinner diameter wires can be used over larger spaces. The mesh itself will remain strong and stable with a high percentage of open area. Different patterns such as plain weave, twilled weave, and plain dutch weave are made on these types of weaving looms

Superior Corrosion and Temperature Resistance

Engineered to endure aggressive environments, Nickel Woven Wire Mesh excels in both acidic and alkaline settings. Its robust nickel composition and temperature resistance up to 600C make it ideal for high-stress industrial operations, providing stability and longevity.

Precision Manufacturing and Customization

Our mesh is available in a wide range of wire gauges (10100 SWG), apertures (0.052.5 mm), and widths (0.61.5 m), with the option for further customization to meet specific project requirements. The flat-rolled, unclipped edge design facilitates smooth installation and handling.

Diverse Applications Across Industries

Whether for filtration, battery electrodes, chemical processing, or electronics, this nickel mesh delivers superior performance. Its high conductivity and mechanical integrity serve essential roles in laboratories, aerospace, and beyond, establishing it as a versatile solution for technical needs.

FAQs of Nickel Woven Wire Mesh:

Q: How does Nickel Woven Wire Mesh perform in corrosive environments?

A: Nickel Woven Wire Mesh displays excellent resistance to both acidic and alkaline conditions, making it suitable for chemical processing, laboratory, and industrial environments prone to corrosion. Its high nickel purity ensures minimal degradation, even in harsh chemicals.

Q: What are the available aperture and wire gauge options for this mesh?

A: Apertures range from 0.05 mm to 2.5 mm, and wire gauges span from 10 to 100 SWG. These customizable options allow precise filtration or separation depending on your specific application needs.

Q: When is Nickel Woven Wire Mesh preferable over other materials?

A: This mesh is preferable when high electrical conductivity, superior temperature resistance (up to 600C), and excellent corrosion resistance are required. Typical use cases include filtration, battery electrodes, and electronics where durability is essential.

Q: Where can Nickel Woven Wire Mesh be used effectively?

A: It finds effective use in filtration units, battery electrodes, laboratory analysis equipment, chemical plants, aerospace assemblies, and electronic manufacturing due to its robust performance under challenging conditions.

Q: What is the standard packing and file handling method for this mesh?

A: Standard packing involves wrapping the mesh in waterproof paper followed by placement in a wooden case, ensuring safe transit and storage. The mesh is shipped in a flat-rolled state for easy, damage-free handling.

Q: How does the mesh benefit industrial and laboratory applications?

A: Its high durability, stability at elevated temperatures, excellent corrosion resistance, and superior electrical conductivity collectively deliver reliable long-term performance, reducing maintenance and improving operational efficiency in critical applications.

Q: What surface treatment and color can be expected?

A: The mesh is treated with a bright annealed process, resulting in a clean, silver grey appearance that enhances corrosion resistance and maintains a consistent surface finish for diverse industrial and scientific uses.
